The problem with plastic
Plastic bowls scratch easily, and those tiny scratches trap bacteria a quick rinse never clears. For a lot of cats, that shows up as feline acne, the little black spots you might have noticed on their chin. Plastic also holds onto smells and flavours that can put sensitive cats off their food and water.
Why stainless steel and ceramic
Both are non porous. They do not harbour bacteria the way plastic does, they are genuinely easy to keep clean, and they never taint the taste of water. It is the same reason so many of us have moved our own kitchens away from plastic. Your cat deserves the same.
Whisker friendly by design
Cats hate squashing their whiskers against the sides of a deep, narrow bowl. It is called whisker fatigue, and it is why so many cats paw food onto the floor or leave their water untouched. Our bowls are wide, shallow and raised, so your cat can eat and drink in comfort.
Water they will actually drink
Cats are famously poor drinkers, which strains their kidneys and urinary tract over time. Fresh, moving, filtered water encourages them to drink far more than they ever would from a still bowl.
